"Broadband network may be Marshfield's biggest secret"

"Broadband network may be Marshfield's biggest secret"

"Communicating in the information age is huge business. And, who would have guessed that rural Marshfield has one of the most sophisticated communication networks found in the nation, via the Cooperatives' Broadband Network. Provided locally by Webster Electric Cooperative, this fiber optic system allows businesses to have access to all of those 'big city' high tech features such as high speed Internet, centralized telephone, computer and surveillance systems, real-time video and audio feeds, networking of satellite offices and secure, high speed data transfers."

Long article describing both Webster's fiber network and the larger Sho-Me Power fiber network in Missouri.
