Iowa: Cedar Falls builds new data center for Internet routing

"Data center breaks ground in industrial park"
"... When the Cedar Valley Data Center is completed --- anticipated to be in June --- the $2.6 million expansion of TEAM Technologies campus in the Industrial Park will house one of the largest data centers in the country and the only one in Iowa."

"'This project is important for economic development in the Cedar Valley and in Iowa' said Mark Stewart, a partner with TEAM Property Management, an arm of TEAM Technologies. 'Research has shown that high quality telecom services are consistently cited in the top five reasons why a company chose a particular location to expand. We believe the TEAM Technologies-Cedar Valley Data Center will be an important step in improving Iowa's communications infrastructure.'"
